007-014. Blood Covenant

Summary

This series explains the meaning of blood covenant in the culture of the times of the Bible and how God introduced the Blood Covenant as part of the preparation for the coming of the Messiah. A covenant between two parties was established in the most precious thing, their blood, and a substitute animal was killed in their place. The blood of the two parties was then mingled together in a cup from which both would drink.

The heart of the covenant that God makes with us is love (chesed) and as we hold up the name of Jesus we can trust in the power of His Blood which he shed for us.
